Just wanted to let you know that it was one of the birding trips I have been on to date in terms of organization, number of birds seen (437 group total & at least 98% lifers for me).

The locations both central and north well and truly explored. The transport was more than comfortable. The support given Jeab and the drivers from by Nature Trails were exceptional as they attended to our every need both on and off the field (tea, coffee cake and biscuits mid morning and afternoon in the field, who could ask for more).

Although hot we coped well and the air conditioning in the reserve and hotels was a blessing. Our guide Jay, without exception was one of the best birding guides I have ever come across.

He is gifted in terms of his knowledge, hearing and sight, and was relentless in his quest to get us to see as many of the birds as possible. His gentle way of leading us as a group and as individuals through the experience was exceptional. Anyway, I am so pleased I choose Thailand or be my first birding experience of South East Asia.

We had a wonderful 12 day tour of Central and North Thailand. I had excellent view of most of my target birds and only wish I could have stayed longer in Thailand.  The accommodation were wonderful and food was excellent throughout the tour.  Our guide, Prateep, was absolutely fantastic. He is an excellent birder, patient, and overall a wonderful and kind person.  He knew all the birding and photography hot spots and made excellent suggestions along the way.  He also made sure that my mom, who is not a birder, did not miss out on the action.  I would highly recommend him without any hesitation.

Overall a very pleasant & fruitful tour. Very enjoyable despite the mosquitoes & insects.

Prateep is friendly, knowledgeable.  Interested in what the client wanted to see and helpful in helping locate the bird in the dense foliage.  Liked the portable hide!

We both felt it was one of our best trips every.  Our guide, Prateep, was phenomenal.  Accommodating, great guiding and his personality made the trip completely stress free.  We would highly recommend him to anyone.

The whole holiday was a tremendous success and enjoyed thoroughly by all four of us.  As well as lots of exciting bird watching we had lots of laughs and amazing bonhomie with everyone who joined us.  Obviously a big that you too Nature Trails and to Patcharee in particular.  Things only go well if the planning is right …

Tu (Rattapon) has very good birding skills.  Nice company.  Will surely come back!

Excellent guide & host.  Great to see the birds without the use of tape.  Very pleased with all logistics.  Would strongly recommend to friends.

Tu (Rattapon) was an amazing guide.  He not only showed us the birds and some mammals but also explained Thai cooking.  He was an easy person to get along with.

The arrangements for transport, accommodation etc were very well organized.

The holiday was so good and relaxing that we felt the time disappeared too quickly.  Our thanks to everyone for making our visit so enjoyable and one not easily forgotten.

Rachen and Rattapon were excellent, best bird guides we have ever experienced.  Everything worked as planned and very smoothly (even when Rachen’s car broke down).  Excellent trip all round.  We will be back!

En was very competent and also good company.  My husband is not very interested in birds, and En did a perfect combination of birding, nature and other things – like explainign about salt production or how the prisons worked.  Her knowledge was broad and she willingly shared what she knew.  She knew the birds well and introduced me to Thailand’s fauna well.  Her choices of places to travel, given the short length of our trip also seemed good.  En was flexible and seemed to enjoy going new places as well as familiar.

Considering the relatively short notice I gave you for the tour and also for the short length of the tour, you did an excellent job.  I appreciated that you were happy to work within our limitations and create and excellent nature tour.  Thank you.  I will recommend you to anyone I met who would like to bird in Thailand.

All of us wanted to let you know that we had a great day yesterday birding with Kamol.  He is a wonderful guide and artist.  We were happy to be able to see the Spoon-billed Sandpiper, as well as all the other birds.  My most memorable day of birding in Thailand.  The van was comfortable.  The driver very courteous.  The food great.  The drinks welcomed.

It was a pleasure to be with Rachen.  He was dedicated, well prepared, well informed and keen to pass on information, skilled, flexible and willing to answer questions.

Just a quick line to thank you for putting together a very good tour for David and myself.  The logistics all worked well, the accommodation were good and the birds were of course excellent.  Our four top target birds all showed well, although the Ground-cuckoo gave us a run-around for a few days.  We feel priviledged to have seen both Spoon-billed Sandpiper and Gurney’s Pitta.

Just in case my husband did not say we had an excellent trip with Rachen.  He was a very knowledgeable guide and worked exceedingly hard throughout our trip.  The birding was extremely good but he also gave us a real insight into the culture and history of the area.  He was also kind and considerate.

My family and I would like to send a big thank you to you and Rachen.  He was an outstanding guide.  We had a wonderful day.

Great food, Kamol was an expert guide to Thai cuisine in addition to being a guide to Thai birds.  Kamol was a superb guide, he worked hard to get Margaret and me “onto” the various birds that we encountered.  We enjoyed this trip greatly.  We hope to return to Thailand for a second birding trip soon, under the auspices of Nature Trails with Kamol as guide.

Guiding, the best I ever had in Thailand, most friendly, absolutely competent, it would be an honour for me to meet Mr. Rattapon again.  Expensive tour, but well worth every penny I spent in it.

We were very honoured to have Kamol as our guide.  As expected, he was superb and very entertaining.  We had an amazing experience.  Excellent, Patcharee is always so efficient, helpful and courteous.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Doi Inthanon with Rachen.  He is very knowledgeable about the birds, their sounds and habitat.  He was also very patient and is very diligent at making sure that you see the same bird as he does (whenever possible).  The accommodation was good and I would suggest that the hotel provides a fan in each room, since it was very difficult to create a cross-breeze.  All other aspects of the trip were good – transportation, food etc.

Guiding was very good; Kamol was brilliant.

Tu is a very good guide and appreciated travel company.  Knows the birds and animals – we ask for no more.  Will happily come back to Thailand with Tu for new adventure.  All in all very pleased, many birds and animals, good company and a fantastic country.

Very good driver & van, could not have wished for more.  Accommodation was good with nice grounds and clean, tidy.  Kamol is a very experienced leader with a good eye and ear for the birds.  He made this a trip to remember for a long time to come, just fantastic.  Arrangement could not be falted everything went to plan.

The guide’s knowledge & enthusiasm was of a high standard.  All the staff gave us their full attention.  Refreshment breaks were plentiful & tasty.

Excellent guide, the best I’ve ever experienced!  Tu (Rattapon) was not only an expert birder, he was totally professional in taking good care of me.  He was so generous in sharing his knowledge & experience as a naturalist, researcher, educator.  He respects & loves natural world in a beautiful way.  I appreciate learning about mammals, history & culture of Thailand through Tu.  Very fortunate to have met him.
